The drug crimes branch teams of the Ağrı province police in Turkey have arrested an Iranian traveler on charges of carrying narcotics.

An Iranian bus was stopped and searched at a checkpoint on the Ağrı - Erzurum highway.

During this inspection, police teams identified an Iranian who was carrying 120 narcotic substances in his backpack.

The suspect was arrested after initial investigations and giving his statements at the prosecutor's office.

The narcotic substances were also confiscated.
