The founder of the Turkish company TODEX, who had stated before fleeing that he would return in two days, was finally arrested after months of living in hiding in a coastal city in Albania.
Blendi Çuçi, the Albanian Minister of Interior, announced on Tuesday morning during a call with his Turkish counterpart Süleyman Soylu that Fatih Ozer had been apprehended in the city of Vlorë.
The Albanian police reported that the 28-year-old Turkish citizen was arrested around 6:30 AM GMT at a hotel in Vlorë.
In a statement, the Albanian police emphasized that two other individuals suspected of assisting him were also detained, along with the seizure of their computers, mobile phones, and bank cards.
