A Group of Iranian Cyclists Tour in Turkey

A group of Iranian cyclists visited Lake Van and the town of Adilcevaz in the Bitlis province of Turkey.

A collection of nature enthusiasts from Iran entered the Bitlis province as part of a cycling tour around Lake Van and explored the town of Adilcevaz.

This group of 24 cyclists first entered the Van province and visited residential areas and historical sites around Lake Van.

Mohammad Alshahadi, one of the members of this Iranian group, noted in an interview with Anadolu that he previously visited Lake Van with four of his friends.

Alshahadi mentioned that after returning to Iran, he shared the beauty of this city with his friends, adding: "This time we came with 24 people. We camped in Aydıncık. The people here are very nice. We want the people of both countries to get to know each other better and to develop a friendly relationship. We are very happy with this visit. We want to come back again."

Helia Alshahadi also stated that she cycled about 300 kilometers from Iran to Aydıncık, saying: "It’s very beautiful here; we really liked it. We will tell our friends in Iran about this place. They will come too."
