President Erdogan announced after the opening of the Kağıthane - Istanbul metro that the first month will be free of charge.
Erdogan stated, "The construction process of this metro has broken many records and is a source of pride for the country on a national level.
Thanks to this metro line, which has the capacity to carry 800 thousand passengers per day, access to Istanbul Airport from Kağıthane will be possible in 24 minutes.
Erdogan also announced that the metro will provide free services to passengers in the first month."
