Distance education in all universities in Turkey.

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of Turkey, made these remarks during his visit to the tents in the city of Kayapınar, Salah al-Din Ayyubi in Diyarbakır. Erdoğan announced that due to the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş, universities will fully switch to remote education.

He stated that all universities and the dormitories of educational institutions will be used as guesthouses, saying: "We will currently close our universities for in-person attendance until the summer season, and they will continue their activities entirely through remote education."

Erdoğan said: "Two days ago, I was in Osmaniye, where I visited a very modern and well-equipped dormitory with a capacity of 2200 people. They are hosting all of our citizens and earthquake victims in that dormitory."

"There, I witnessed the satisfaction of our citizens. Here too, we currently have a capacity of 6663. We will continue to transfer people to our dormitories in this manner, thereby moving them from the tents here."
