President Erdoğan announced one month of free gas for everyone, stating that for one month, there will be no charge for natural gas consumption in homes.

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President and Chairman of the Justice and Development Party, spoke at the launch ceremony for natural gas from the Black Sea in Zonguldak.
In his speech at the "Black Sea Gas Launch Ceremony," which was held at the Filius gas processing facility, Erdoğan highlighted the following points:
The commissioning of Black Sea gas is a historic step towards our country’s energy independence, and it is our second celebration.   We drilled the Sakarya gas field, which was discovered by the Fatih ship.
Initially, we found a reserve of 320 billion cubic meters in the field, and this number rose to 405 billion cubic meters, after which, with the participation of the Kanuni ship, it increased to 540 billion cubic meters.
The Yavuz has also joined our fleet, and with the modeling commissioned from an international assessment company, the amount of gas in Sakarya was recorded at 652 billion cubic meters. Our gas reserves in the Black Sea have reached 710 billion cubic meters.
