The beginning of the second round of elections in Turkey.

Turkey is once again heading to the polls today. A president will be elected who will serve for a term of five years. Voting began at 08:00 and will conclude at 17:00. Voting will take place at over 191,000 ballot boxes set up for 60 million and 721 thousand and 745 voters.

Since none of the candidates received an absolute majority in the presidential election on May 14, Turkey is once again going to the polls to determine a new president.

The voting for the second round of Turkey's presidential election, which is being held for the first time in Turkey's political history, will continue until 17:00.
191,885 ballot boxes have been established in 973 districts and 1,094 election zones across the country for the election of the president of Turkey, who will serve in this position for five years. More than 60 million voters will cast their votes in this election.

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the presidential candidate of the People's Alliance, and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the presidential candidate of the Nation Alliance, will compete in this election.
Voters can cast their votes by dropping them into the ballot box with one of the official documents that displays their Turkish Republic identification number.
It will not be mandatory to carry the voter information sheet, which indicates where the voter is supposed to vote. Those who have not received the voter information sheet can find out where and at which polling station they will vote by visiting the website of the Supreme Electoral Council (YSK).
Entry into the polling place with recording devices or communication tools such as mobile phones, cameras, and video equipment will be prohibited. Such devices will be entrusted to the election committee to be returned after voting has concluded.
After the selection of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan or Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, voters will place their ballots into an envelope and drop it into the ballot box.
After the voting process concludes, the counting and sorting of votes will take place.
Mobile ballot boxes will be provided in this election for voters who are bedridden due to illness or disability. These voters can cast their votes in mobile ballot boxes.
Additionally, visually impaired individuals will be able to vote in this election using a prepared template that was implemented on May 14.
