The Ministry carefully examines fraudulent and manipulated advertisements that lead to sudden price increases and may harm consumers.
In this context, real estate advertisements published on advertising platforms have been reviewed.
From September 1st to today, 545 individuals who have increased prices in their real estate advertisements by more than 100 percent during the advertisement period, thus disrupting the market and free competition and harming consumers, have been penalized for actions that violate Article 14 of the Real Estate Trade Regulation, which states, "Individuals engaged in real estate trade must not participate in unfair and unlawful actions." Each individual has been fined 100,000 Turkish Lira, amounting to a total of 54,500,000 Lira.
A fine of 50 million lira for property owners.
