161 Years of "Bando" Tradition Continues This Ramadan
In the city of Amasya, the 161-year-old tradition of Ramadan concerts performed by the municipal band continued this year as well. The band members performed music at iftar and suhoor hours at the historic Harşena Castle.
Continuation of the Historic Tradition This Ramadan
On the first night of Ramadan, Governor Önder Bakan, Members of Parliament Hasan Çilez and Reşat Karagöz, along with Turgay Sevindi, the Mayor of Amasya, joined the band at Harşena Castle to support the continuation of this long-standing tradition.
Performing Popular Songs and Firing the Cannon
The band created a lively atmosphere for citizens by performing heroic anthems and popular songs. At the end of the concert, the traditional Ramadan cannon, which has been used in the event for over 150 years, was fired by Governor Bakan and Mayor Sevindi.

Continuing the Tradition with Requested Songs
Hakan Dinçer, the band leader, stated that this year as well, the group followed the tradition by performing the songs requested by the audience, contributing to making the event more festive and engaging.
