Strong Reaction to Gülçin Ergül: Playing the Victim Role is Easy
Gülçin Ergül, the famous Turkish singer, recently spoke on a television program about the reasons for her separation from the music group Hepsi. While shedding tears, she talked about the hardships she endured after leaving the group. These statements triggered a strong reaction from her former bandmate, Yasemin Yürük.
“I Was Declared a Scapegoat”
Gülçin Ergül, who gained fame in the 2000s with the group Hepsi, spoke about the bitter experiences of leaving the group. In this interview, she said:
“For years, I was declared a scapegoat and carried the burden of this accusation.”
She emphasized that during the separation period, she did not have the opportunity to talk about the issues that arose:
“Not only was I involved in legal matters, but I also did not want to speak negatively about my former bandmates. However, this silence was very difficult for me. The words spoken behind my back are not easily forgotten. It seemed as if I was the one who broke up the group.” “I Don’t Want Them in My Life”
She also revealed that the group reunited in 2014 but said that old problems still remained:
“We got together once again, but I quickly realized that we could not work together. When I objected, I was labeled as selfish, whereas the issue was far more complicated.”
Gülçin Ergül further added that although she still cares for her former bandmates, she does not want them in her life:
“I love them, but I no longer want them in my life. I feel that their presence is harmful to me.”
Strong Reaction from Yasemin Yürük
Following this interview, Yasemin Yürük responded on social media. In one of her posts, referring to Gülçin Ergül’s statements, she wrote:
“Everything is in the past. If everyone had been in the right place, there would not have been any misunderstandings.”
Yürük also accused Gülçin Ergül of “playing the victim role” while referencing past conflicts and wrote:
“It is easy to lie and slander, but the truth always comes out. If the documents and agreements at that time had been officially recorded, there would be no room for these discussions now.”
“Everyone Faces Their Own Karma”
Another former member of the Hepsi group, Cemre Kemer, also reacted to the issue. In an Instagram post, she wrote:
“Every time I wake up, my inbox is filled with judgments and insults from people who don’t even know me.”
Finally, Yasemin Yürük also made a sharp remark, writing:
“Some people prefer to live in the past, but I believe that everyone faces their own karma.”
It seems that the disputes among the members of Hepsi are still ongoing, and a reconciliation between them appears unlikely.
