Unemployment benefits and short-time work allowances will be paid starting March 28
The Minister of Labor and Social Security of Turkey, Vedat Işıkhan, announced that payments related to unemployment benefits and short-time work allowances will be made starting from March 28.
Emphasis on government support for citizens
Işıkhan, in a message published on his official social media account, emphasized the government's approach in supporting people through social services.
"Taking into account the principles of a welfare state, we are always beside our citizens and provide the necessary support services."
Payment details
The Turkish Minister of Labor added that the payments for the month of March, including unemployment benefits and short-time work allowances, will begin on March 28. In addition, payments for part-time work allowances and the wage guarantee fund will also be made on the same date.
How the funds will be transferred
According to the official announcement, individuals whose IBAN information is registered in the system will receive their payments through their bank accounts. Those who do not have banking information in the system can receive their payments through PTT post offices.
