Ratings Trouble for “Bahar”: Broadcast Day Moves to Sunday
The popular Turkish drama Bahar, starring Demet Evgar, will undergo a major schedule change as it enters its third season. The series, previously airing on Tuesday nights, will move to Sunday evenings starting December 7 due to a decline in viewership on Tuesdays.
According to industry sources, the decision was made after rating losses became more noticeable, prompting the channel to seek an alternative timeslot.
Bahar’s former slot will now be taken over by the new series “Rüya Gibi”, featuring Seda Bakan, Uğur Güneş, Ahsen Eroğlu, Emre Bey, Celil Nalçakan, Şebnem Bozoklu, and Devrim Yakut. The new drama will premiere on Tuesday, December 2.
A New Season with a New Day
The shift to Sunday is expected to give Bahar a stronger rating performance as it begins its highly anticipated third season. The production team hopes the new schedule will help regain audience attention.
