Model Didem Soydan (Didem Soydan) has spoken for the first time after being released from custody as part of a drug-related investigation. Soydan, who was released with a judicial control measure and a travel ban, addressed the allegations and her legal situation.
"We have no fear because we did not kill anyone, and we do not live an illegitimate life. Since we have nothing to hide, our minds and hearts are at peace. There is no problem,"
she stated. Addressing the media regarding the ongoing process, she added, "I am not waiting for the test results; you are."
Background of the Investigation
Soydan was detained alongside 14 individuals, including high-profile figures such as former Besiktas (Beşiktaş) President Fikret Orman (Fikret Orman) and former Galatasaray (Galatasaray) President Burak Elmas (Burak Elmas). The operation targeted various public figures as part of a wider narcotics probe.
In her official statement to the police, Soydan denied all charges brought against her. While the investigation led to the formal arrest of four individuals, the model was released following her testimony and the processing of her case.
