Ekin Türkmen: I No Longer Have an Interest in Marriage

Ekin Türkmen, a well-known Turkish actress, once again reiterated her views on marriage. She previously stated that "8 out of 10 married men are unhappy," and now she reaffirms that she is no longer interested in this matter.

Ekin Türkmen: Most Marriages Are Not Pleasant

The actress, referring to the experiences of her married friends, stated:

"I am not against marriage, but I no longer believe in it. Happy marriages are very rare. When I look at my married friends, most of them are unhappy, especially the men... It feels like they are trapped in a prison."

She Still Does Not Believe in Marriage

According to HaberTürk, Ekin Türkmen was spotted leaving a restaurant in the Etiler district and once again emphasized that she still stands by her views on marriage.

Lack of Interest in Marriage

Now 40 years old, when asked about her personal life, she said:

"Currently, there is no one in my life. In general, I am not a person who is into marriage. 8 out of 10 marriages end in failure. I think very few people are truly happy in their marriage. Things are no longer the way they were in our parents’ time. I no longer have an interest in marriage."

Her Reaction to Her Sister's Marriage

However, she does not stop others from getting married. Türkmen said about her sister's upcoming marriage:

"My sister is getting married soon, but I don't tell her not to do it. For those who are happy, we should simply say: Mashallah!"

A Difficult Filming Experience

She also spoke about her recent film project, which was shot in a salt mine in Çankırı:

"We made an incredible movie. This was the toughest experience of my 25-year acting career. We were in a 32-kilometer-long mine. Every time we saw the sun, we were grateful. We didn't stay there, because it was simply not possible. It was a beautiful place, but after a month, it stopped feeling beneficial."
