With the beginning of the week, temperatures will rise in the western parts of the country. Meanwhile, the eastern provinces including Hakkari, Şırnak, Batman, Siirt, Bitlis, and the south of Van will continue to experience heavy precipitation, which will appear as snow in some areas.

Weather conditions in three major cities

No precipitation is expected in the three major cities, and the sky will be mostly clear to partly cloudy.

  • The temperature in Ankara today will be around 10°C.
  • In İstanbul, the temperature will reach 15°C.
  • İzmir will also be one of the warmest cities at the start of the week, with a temperature of 19°C.

Agricultural frost to continue for two days

The phenomenon of agricultural frost will persist in various parts of the country for the next two days. This phenomenon will mainly occur in the southern and eastern parts of Marmara, the interior of the Aegean region, the Göller area, parts of Central Anatolia, the interior parts of the Black Sea region, and the east.

Meteorological warnings: from dust storms to avalanche risk

Meteorology experts have warned of the risk of avalanches in the steep areas of Eastern Anatolia and the Eastern Black Sea region.

In addition, dust storms are also expected today in southeastern Eastern Anatolia and the eastern parts of Southeastern Anatolia. This phenomenon may reduce visibility and cause respiratory problems for sensitive groups.
