Hakan Altun's Stunning Concert Income; Topping the Chart with the Fewest Performances
Among the artists who performed on stage in 2024, Hakan Altun was one of the highest earners. With only 48 concerts, he managed to earn a total of 7 million and 477 thousand euros. With this performance, despite far fewer shows than many other artists, Altun secured the second spot on the Forbes list.
At the top of the 2024 stage income list was Cem Adrian, who performed 188 concerts and earned 8 million and 127 thousand euros. Not only did he perform the most shows, but he also became the highest-paid artist of the year.
However, the real surprise of the list came from the second place; Hakan Altun, with just a quarter of Cem Adrian’s shows, earned almost the same amount of income. This means Altun’s average income per concert was significantly higher than that of other artists.
"Altun’s average concert income placed him at the top of the list of highest-paid artists per stage performance."
This notable gap indicates that Altun's concerts were mainly luxury events, private or corporate organizations. His “less but high-priced” strategy allowed him to earn several million euros with a small number of performances.
Surprise of the Year: Yalın's Income Surge on Stage
Ranked third on the list is Yalın, who earned 6 million and 599 thousand euros from 38 concerts; this means an average of over 173 thousand euros per concert. Interestingly, he had only earned 820 thousand euros the previous year, and now, with a 704% increase, he marked the biggest financial jump of the year.
Hande Yener’s Brilliant Comeback; Leading Among Female Artists
Hande Yener, the Turkish pop star, showed that she is still in high demand in the music market. With 38 concerts, she earned 2 million and 657 thousand euros. She had made only 675 thousand euros the previous year, and this year, with a 293% increase, she once again proved her power in the music scene.
Major Drop for Hadise and Ezhel in the Earnings Chart
While some stars rose to the top, others experienced a sharp decline. Hadise performed only 25 concerts and earned 1 million and 417 thousand euros, showing a drop of over 54% compared to the previous year. Similarly, Ezhel did only 10 concerts and earned just 1 million euros, experiencing a similar decline.
Lessons from the Artists' Earnings Table
The data published by Forbes shows that artists’ income is no longer limited to the number of concerts alone. The type of event, audience profile, and financial structure of the performance also play major roles. Hakan Altun was a successful example of the “less but high-value” model, while Yalın experienced a sharp growth and made a strong appearance on the list. On the other hand, names like Hadise and Ezhel faced a decline in performance and lost their positions on the chart.
