To whom did Serdar Ortaç leave his inheritance? Neither family nor relatives!
Serdar Ortaç, the veteran Turkish pop singer who has been struggling for years with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), shared an optimistic message at his latest concert in Harbiye, saying: “I can walk again, I even ride a bike.” But this optimistic tone didn’t last long.
He later added a bitter sentence that worried his fans: “I might have ten to fifteen years left to live—or maybe none at all... I have no children, no family.” He also announced that he had left his only house to his employees—a decision reflecting his loneliness and emotional exhaustion.
The only remaining house
Years ago, Ortaç faced heavy gambling debts, which he eventually paid off. Now, he only owns a villa facing the Bosphorus, with eight rooms and seven hundred square meters of space. He shared the fate of this villa by saying:
“I don’t have much money left. I left my inheritance to my employees. There’s one house—let them share it. I have no kids, no wealth, only my employees. Let that one house be theirs, since I don’t even know how much time I’ve got left.”
Health crisis and mental fatigue
This singer, who sometimes expresses a dark outlook about the future in interviews and on social media, is now not only struggling with a physical illness but also showing signs of emotional burnout. His recent statements reflect more than just physical pain—they are the echo of deep loneliness and inner exhaustion.
Fans’ reaction
Despite his physical condition, many of Serdar Ortaç’s fans still hope that he will return to the music stage—with the same strength as before and a message filled with hope. They wish for this artist to be remembered not with bitterness, but with a smile and positive energy.
