Emergency Air Ambulance Flight for Newborn Baby
A newborn baby with a heart condition was transferred from Muş to Istanbul via an air ambulance.
Diagnosis at Muş Hospital
The baby, who was receiving treatment in the neonatal intensive care unit at Muş State Hospital, was diagnosed with aortic coarctation (narrowing of the aorta).
Request for an Emergency Air Ambulance
The provincial health administration requested an air ambulance from the Ministry of Health’s Air Transport Coordination Unit for further examination and continued treatment of the newborn.
Air Ambulance Landing at Van Airport
After the request was approved, the Ministry of Health's air ambulance landed at Ferit Melen Airport in Van.
Transfer of the Newborn to Istanbul
The baby was first transported to Van by ambulance and then transferred via the air ambulance to Mehmet Akif Ersoy Thoracic, Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul.
