Agricultural Frost Warning in Western and Central Regions of Turkey
Due to the arrival of a cold and rainy air mass from the Balkans, a frost warning has been issued for the western and central regions of Turkey.
According to a statement issued by the Meteorology General Directorate of Turkey, frost is expected in areas such as Marmara, Central Aegean, the inland areas of the Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the inland parts of Western and Central Black Sea, as well as Western Eastern Anatolia.
Need for Preparedness of Farmers and Gardeners
According to this statement, frost is forecasted with moderate intensity and in some areas severe, during the night and morning of today, tomorrow, and Friday. Therefore, farmers and gardeners in the mentioned regions must take the necessary precautions to prevent potential damage.
The Meteorology General Directorate of Turkey warned: "During the nights and early morning hours, especially in inland and high-altitude areas, the risk of frost increases."
Weather Forecast for the Coming Days
Meteorologists in Turkey announced that the trend of decreasing temperatures will continue until the end of this week, and this condition may affect the growth of agricultural products.
