Weather Forecast During Eid al-Fitr
On the first day of Eid al-Fitr, rainfall is expected in most parts of the country, except for some areas in central Anatolia and the provinces of Mersin and Adana. Also, the temperature, which has been above seasonal averages in recent days, will slightly decrease due to this rainfall.
Widespread Rainfall in the Coming Days
It is expected that from the end of the week, with the entry of a new weather system from the west of the country, the temperature will begin to decrease across Turkey. This weather system will affect various regions.
Today's and Tomorrow's Forecast
Today, the sky in the northern and western regions of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times. In some parts of northern and western Marmara and also around the provinces of Karabük and Kastamonu, scattered showers are expected. Other regions will have clear to partly cloudy skies.
For tomorrow, rainfall is also forecasted in the provinces of Rize and Artvin. Starting Friday, a new system will enter from the west and bring widespread rain across the country.
Weather Conditions on Arafah Day and Eid Holidays
On Arafah Day, thunderstorms are expected in most parts of the country — except for the central regions. The rain will also continue during the first and second days of Eid but will gradually weaken and exit the country. Temperatures will drop slightly with this system.
Forecasted Temperatures for Arafah Day
The maximum temperatures for some major cities on Arafah Day are forecasted as follows:
- Ankara: 21°C
- İstanbul: 17°C
- İzmir: 21°C
