Serdal Adalı referred to PFDK for harsh criticism of refereeing in Beşiktaş - Galatasaray derby

Serdal Adalı referred to the disciplinary committee of the football federation

Türkiye Futbol Federasyonu (TFF) Hukuk Müşavirliği referred Serdal Adalı, the president of Beşiktaş, to the Profesyonel Futbol Disiplin Kurulu (PFDK) due to his statements.

According to the statement released by the federation, the reasons for this referral include "statements that damage the reputation of football" and "insult and violation of the personal rights of the match official." These statements were published on Wednesday, March 26, via the club's official social media account.

Beşiktaş was also referred to the disciplinary committee for publishing these statements through its official media, based on the same reasons.

Strong reaction by Serdal Adalı to the federation's decision

After the federation announced the referee of the match, Serdal Adalı gave a strong response. He had requested a foreign referee for the crucial match between Beşiktaş and Galatasaray, and after this request was ignored, he made harsh statements in a media interview, strongly objecting to the TFF's decision and calling for the resignation of its management.

Serdal Adalı: "Turkish football can no longer move forward with such decisions. This decision not only harms our club, but also damages the reputation of the entire league."

Invitation of a famous referee for the Istanbul derby

In a different move, Beşiktaş has invited a famous retired foreign referee for the 29th week match of the Super League against Galatasaray. This referee, who will watch the match together with club president Serdal Adalı, will also be responsible for analyzing and evaluating key scenes during the game.

This move is considered a symbolic protest by the club against recent refereeing decisions in the Turkish league.
