Recordings Contradict Alaattin Kadayifcioglu's Statement of a Struggle
In the murder case of footballer Kubilay Kaan Kundakci (Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı), who was killed in a shooting in Umraniye (Ümraniye), murder suspect Alaattin Kadayifcioglu (Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu) claimed in his police statement that the weapon discharged during a physical altercation. However, audio recordings of the incident revealed that Kadayifcioglu opened fire within 4 seconds of approaching the vehicle, showing that no struggle took place.
Seven suspects, including Aleyna Kalaycioglu (Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu), Alaattin Kadayifcioglu, and Izzet Yildizhan (İzzet Yıldızhan), have been arrested in connection with the shooting of the footballer in Umraniye.

Claims of Weapon Discharge During a Struggle
Murder suspect Alaattin Kadayifcioglu defended himself in his police statement by saying:
"The gun suddenly went off during a struggle; I definitely did not intentionally fire the weapon. I went into shock when the gun discharged. I didn't even realize whether it was my gun or another one that fired. Due to the shock of the incident, I wanted to leave immediately. Thinking I could not drive my own car because of the state I was in, I got into the other vehicle instead of the one I arrived in."
Recordings Disprove Kadayifcioglu's Defense
However, audio footage released by Emrullah Erdinc (Emrullah Erdinç) contradicted Kadayifcioglu's claim of a struggle. The recordings established that Alaattin Kadayifcioglu opened fire within 4 seconds of reaching the vehicle and that no physical altercation occurred.
Statement Regarding Alleged Incitement
Aleyna Kalaycioglu, who was arrested on charges of instigating the murder, also described the moment of the incident in her statement. Denying the allegations of incitement, she stated:
"We went to the scene to return Canbay's dog. When Alaattin saw Canbay in the vehicle, he got out of our car and fired toward the other vehicle. Then we got back in the car and left. I got out of the car further down the road."
