Heavy Rain Warning in South Aegean and Western Mediterranean
According to the announcement by the Turkish Meteorological Service, heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms are expected tomorrow in the South Aegean and Western Mediterranean regions.
Forecast Details for the Aegean Region
According to the General Directorate of Meteorology, from 02:00 AM to 19:00 on Monday, parts of the South Aegean including the inner and southern areas of İzmir province, eastern Manisa, and Aydın province will experience local and heavy rainfall. In some areas of Muğla province, rainfall intensity will reach very high levels and will be accompanied by thunderstorms.
Weather Forecast in the Western Mediterranean
In the Western Mediterranean region, between 04:00 and 23:59, heavy local rainfall is expected in the provinces of Burdur and Isparta. It is also expected to begin from the western parts of Antalya province and later reach the center of this province, bringing heavy to very heavy rainfall with thunderstorms in these areas.

The Meteorological Service has asked citizens in the affected areas to follow weather conditions more carefully. Risks such as sudden floods, water accumulation, severe thunderstorms, and transportation disruptions may arise from this weather system.
