The rise in temperatures across the country will begin tomorrow
According to forecasts by the Meteorology Directorate of Turkey, temperatures, which in recent days have been below seasonal averages, will begin to rise tomorrow starting from the western regions of the country and will gradually extend to other areas. Meanwhile, the current precipitation system will remain active in some regions until the middle of next week.
Rainfall forecast in the country
Today, the sky is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy in many parts of the country. According to reports, rainfall will continue intermittently in regions such as Marmara, Aegean, western and eastern parts of the Mediterranean, northwestern and eastern Central Anatolia, various parts of the Black Sea region, and the eastern and southeastern areas of Turkey.
In coastal areas, especially Marmara and the southeastern part of the country, precipitation will occur in the form of rain and showers; while in inland regions, it is expected to be in the form of rain and snow. Furthermore, heavy rainfall is expected at times in provinces such as Rize, Trabzon, and eastern parts of Giresun.
Weather conditions in the coming days
For the next three days, the country will continue to see partly to mostly cloudy skies. Rainfall will continue mainly in the Black Sea region, Central Anatolia, eastern and southeastern parts of the country, as well as central and eastern parts of the Mediterranean. The type of precipitation will vary by region; rain and showers in coastal areas and snow and sleet in higher and colder regions.
Gradual rise in temperatures
Starting tomorrow, temperatures, which have so far been lower than the seasonal norm, will begin to rise. This increase will start from the western regions and will be felt across the country by the middle of next week.
