Increase in the Housing Price Index in March

Housing Price Index (KFE) in March 2025 increased by 2% compared to the previous month and by 32.3% compared to the previous year.

Housing Price Index (KFE), which is calculated to monitor housing price changes in Turkey after removing the effect of quality and based on 2023 = 100, jumped by 2% compared to February to reach 174 in March.

Although the KFE showed a 32.3% increase over the same period last year, in real terms it experienced a decrease of 4.2%.

Monthly changes in the three major cities

An analysis of the index in the three major cities shows that in March, compared to the previous month, İstanbul experienced a 2.5% increase, Ankara a 1.9% increase, and İzmir a 3.8% increase.

Comparison with the same period last year

Compared to March 2024, the index rose by 30.7% in İstanbul, by 38.6% in Ankara, and by 32.5% in İzmir.
