Personal data theft

Alperen Duymaz's lawyer, Ilker Atamer, announced in a statement published on social media that his client's personal information, including phone number, home address, and ID number, has been stolen.

Legal action against the fraudsters

Atamer also emphasized that they have approached the judicial authorities to follow up on this matter and have requested the identification of the fraudster's IP address from the related website.

Lawyer Ilker Atamer said on this matter:

Alperen Duymaz
The stolen personal information of citizens is now being used to harass them through fake food orders. My client, Alperen Duymaz, while present on the set for filming, fell victim to this type of fraud, and 14 fake food orders were placed in his name, causing interruptions to the shooting. On the same day, two other relatives of his in different cities were also targeted by similar fraud. This indicates that the perpetrators not only had access to his contact information and address but also to his identification details.

We have officially submitted a request to the judiciary to identify the IP address from the mentioned website, and we have also reported an Instagram account that is illegally selling celebrities' phone numbers. The fact is that citizens' personal data has been circulating online for a long time and is being used to commit various crimes. Given this situation, instead of remaining inactive, a solution such as issuing new national ID numbers based on secure and updated algorithms must be considered.
