Dilovan’s response through social media

This artist, who has spent part of her life in Switzerland, expressed her discomfort about the reports published in the media via her personal page on social media.

"Oh my God! What a big deal this Switzerland and Geneva have become... It seems the media can’t stop writing about it. I’ve explained over and over again that I haven’t left my country, and I still live in my house in Turkey as well."

Clarification about citizenship status

Seher Dilovan further emphasized that she holds dual citizenship and said:

"I am a citizen of both countries; Turkey and Switzerland. And I haven’t just moved to Switzerland—I’ve been living there at the same time for 26 years."

Denial of other rumors

She also denied other rumors such as being a farmer, and critically added:

"I don’t do farming. I love my country as much as you do. I have a house in Tunceli, in the villages of both my mother and father. That’s enough—please don’t write anything without accurate knowledge. Stop writing lies just to get attention and views."
