Perran Kutman praised Gökçe Bahadır; the famous actress shed tears!

The popular and highly watched series “Hayat Bilgisi”, which aired between 2003 and 2006, is considered one of the most memorable projects on Turkish television. In this series, well-known actors such as Perran Kutman, Kerem Kupacı, Gökçe Bahadır, Yıldız Asyalı, Ümit Erdim, and İpek Erdem came together.

This series, which became one of the most successful youth series in Turkey, remained unforgettable thanks to the iconic character “Afet Öğretmen” brilliantly played by Perran Kutman.

The veteran actress, who has been away from television for a while, recently appeared as a guest on the program Candaş Tolga Işık. In this interview, she made emotional remarks about behind-the-scenes moments of the series and her collaboration with Gökçe Bahadır.

Emotional praise for Gökçe Bahadır

In part of her comments, Perran Kutman praised Gökçe Bahadır’s dedication and loyalty to her work, saying:

Gökçe was truly devoted to her work. She would wait for me outside the door and ask: “Mama Perihan, can we rehearse our scene again?” She wanted to go over every scene again. She truly loved this job and was very hardworking. That’s why she made it to where she is today.

She also referred to Gökçe as a “child full of ambition and passion for acting”.

Gökçe Bahadır’s emotional reaction

After this interview aired, Gökçe Bahadır responded emotionally on social media and wrote:

Today, when I watched the interview of dear Perran Kutman, or as we say, “Mama Perran,” I couldn’t hold back my tears. Once again, I remembered how lucky I was. That I took my first step in this profession with her, that I was her student, and that I was inspired by her in every significant moment of my career—this is so precious to me.

Gökçe Bahadır added:

More importantly, not only professionally, but I also learned the meaning of kindness from her. I told myself: “What beautiful days those were!” These days everything feels too much, and words are not enough to express emotions. I chase kindness, just as I learned from her.
