The auction of Dilan Polat and Engin Polat’s cars is being held today
The luxury cars belonging to Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, which were previously seized, are being put up for sale through an auction today. These high-value vehicles are owned by the company Milda Gayrimenkul Otomotiv A.Ş., and the sale process has begun.
This couple, who had been arrested in Turkey on charges such as money laundering and tax evasion, were released last August. After their release, they once again drew media attention with their luxurious lifestyle.
In recent months, it was announced that the cars seized before their arrest would be auctioned off. Now, the time for the auction has arrived and the vehicles are awaiting their new buyers.
The vehicle auction is held under TMSF supervision
These cars were placed under protection after the Turkish Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) was appointed as trustee. The vehicles have been stored in closed parking lots equipped with 24-hour security cameras.
Base prices determined by independent appraisal firms
The base prices of the vehicles, used as the reference for the auction, were determined by independent valuation institutions and included in the auction announcements.
The auction process will be held in two stages
In the first stage, participants will submit their offers to the committee in sealed envelopes. If the highest offer exceeds the base price, the auction will move to the open bidding stage. Ultimately, the auction committee will make the final decision.
In-person inspection available before the auction
Those interested in participating in the auction had previously been able to visit the location and inspect the vehicles by making an appointment. This allowed for more accurate evaluations and better decision-making in the auction process.
"The auction is being held today at 10:00 AM at the TMSF headquarters in Istanbul, and full information is available on the official TMSF website."
