Derin Talu’s Aesthetic Take: “My face is prone to looking escort-like”

Known for her bold remarks, Derin Talu appeared on a YouTube show and, while hooked up to a lie detector, said she has considered a nose job but is worried about looking “overly done.” She drew attention with: “My face is very prone to looking escort-like; if I got my breasts done—thankfully they’re already big—you’d immediately say ‘escort.’”

Frequently in the spotlight for unconventional posts, Derin Talu—the 21-year-old daughter of Defne Samyeli and Eren Talu—had previously trended for listing her criteria in a man and asking would-be suitors to submit a “CV.”

On the program, she was asked: “Is there something about yourself you’re not at peace with?” Talu replied that she has considered a rhinoplasty but fears looking “too plastic.”

Continuing assertively, Talu said: “My face is the kind that can easily look escort-like. If I were blonde, you’d immediately say escort; or if I got my breasts done—which, thankfully, are already big—you’d immediately say escort.”

“I choose men who’ve been with many women”

Derin Talu said she has had a few relationships and values respect and diligence in a partner. She noted she doesn’t hold bias against men without money, adding: “I prefer men who’ve been with many women, because they know what they’re doing.” She also said she spends around five hours a day on TikTok and five on Instagram.

“Not everyone can twerk like me”

Talu said she lived briefly in the U.S. but returned to Turkey because she didn’t like the human dynamics there; she’s open to living in Europe but prefers staying in Turkey. Discussing her content strategy, she noted she sometimes posts twerk videos, but they haven’t performed as expected: “I posted twerk thinking it would hit; it got 50,000 views—so be it. Everyone does networking, but not everyone does it like me.”
