Buse Terim’s romance rumor denied: Not even acquaintances
A rumor claiming that Buse Terim, daughter of legendary coach Fatih Terim, was in a relationship with well-known educator Cenk Eyüboğlu quickly made headlines. However, a swift denial came from Eyüboğlu’s side. Through his lawyer, it was stated that “the allegations are baseless, and there is not even an acquaintance”. Legal action will be taken for the violation of personal rights.
As the rumor spread rapidly, Cenk Eyüboğlu’s lawyer strongly rejected the claims, stressing that his client has no connection with Buse Terim whatsoever.
The romance claim makes headlines
Buse Terim, daughter of veteran football figure Fatih Terim, ended her ten-year marriage with Volkan Bahçekapılı in 2024. About a year and a half after the divorce, rumors surfaced claiming she had started a new relationship. According to Sabah Newspaper, the man allegedly winning her heart was Cenk Eyüboğlu, chairman of one of Turkey’s most established private educational institutions. Following the report, a quick official response was released.
Official lawyer statement: Allegations are unfounded
Lawyer Yusuf Ziya Taş, representing Cenk Eyüboğlu, stated that the report was completely false and unlawful. The statement read:
“My client, Cenk Eyüboğlu, is the Chairman of Rüstem Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions, operating under Eyüboğlu Eğitim Kurumları, one of our country’s most reputable private education networks. With more than 55 years of experience, the institution strives to raise beneficial individuals for society. It is deeply saddening to see my client’s name associated with speculative news.”
It further stated: “The article published on Sabah’s website on November 3, 2025, titled ‘A Socialite Lover for Terim’s Daughter,’ is entirely false. My client has no acquaintance with Ms. Buse Terim.”
Violation of personal rights and legal warning
The statement emphasized that these reports harm Eyüboğlu’s personal rights, private life, and family, even potentially affecting his young children:
“These reports negatively impact my client’s professional, family, and personal life, and could also affect his minor children. Therefore, we demand that these unlawful contents be immediately removed from all internet and social media platforms; otherwise, legal and criminal proceedings will commence.”
