Lovers of 2025: Celebrities Who Marked the Year with Love
Another year has come to an end, and 2025 became a year strongly associated with love for many well-known figures. As we prepare to leave the year behind, let’s take a look at the celebrities whose romantic relationships left a lasting mark on 2025.
Güzide Duran, a mother of two who was going through a contentious divorce process with Adnan Aksoy, made headlines in July when her name was linked to former Beşiktaş president Fikret Orman. Duran, who traveled extensively around the world with her partner, ultimately found the love she was looking for with Orman.
In November, it was revealed that actress Nilperi Şahinkaya was in a romantic relationship with director Baturalp Bekar. Describing their relationship as a “neighborhood love,” Şahinkaya also admitted that she viewed the idea of marriage positively.
Actress Aslı Bekiroğlu later stated that she was the one who introduced the couple to each other.
The relationship between Berk Atan and Gökçe Akyıldız became public in November, after the couple was photographed together during a night out with friends.
Later, Atan and Akyıldız traveled to Paris together. Upon returning, they were seen side by side at Istanbul Airport and spoke openly about their relationship. Akyıldız said:
“We didn’t plan anything. It just happened naturally. We went with the flow and let things unfold on their own.”
Atan added that it was still too early for their families to meet.
Argentine footballer Mauro Icardi, who plays for Galatasaray, continued to make headlines not only for his career but also for his private life. Following a turbulent divorce from Wanda Nara, he began a new relationship with actress and singer China Suarez.
Opening a new chapter in his life with China Suarez, Icardi announced their engagement in May.
Actress Hande Erçel ended her three-year relationship with Hakan Sabancı and later started a new romance with producer Onur Güvenatam. Speaking about the relationship, Erçel said it was still very new and asked for patience rather than judgment.
