Nilperi Şahinkaya: I’m Waiting for a Marriage Proposal
Actress Nilperi Şahinkaya, who has been in a romantic relationship for some time with director Baturalp Bekar, revealed that she is still waiting for a marriage proposal and expressed her hope that it will happen in the new year.
According to a report by Nazif Şahin Karpuz, Nilperi Şahinkaya was spotted together with her partner Baturalp Bekar while walking through the streets of Bebek, where the couple was photographed by the press.
“I Haven’t Received a Marriage Proposal”
Stating that their relationship is going very well, Nilperi Şahinkaya said that she has not yet received a formal marriage proposal. The well-known actress said:
“Everything is very nice at the moment, but a marriage proposal hasn’t come yet. I hope that in 2026, with the new year, there will be a marriage.”
After Nilperi Şahinkaya answered “No” to journalists asking whether she had received a marriage proposal, Baturalp Bekar responded humorously, saying:
“Maybe this time, I’m the one waiting for a marriage proposal.”
Meanwhile, when reminded that her colleague Hande Erçel is writing a story for cinema, Nilperi Şahinkaya was asked whether she also has a dream of writing stories. She replied:
“Not at the moment, but hopefully in the future.”
Baturalp Bekar added jokingly:
“Nilperi writes, I act.”
