Final Rumors Grow for “Pearl Grains” as the New Season Fails to Launch
The hit TV series Pearl Grains has still not been able to start its new season, fueling widespread speculation about the future of the show. Absent from the channel’s broadcast schedule since the beginning of the season, the series has now become the subject of intense discussions about a possible ending.
While audience expectations for the return of Pearl Grains remain high, the continued absence of the series from the broadcast lineup has raised a key question: has the show been postponed, or is it facing a more uncertain future?
Reason for the Delay: A Netflix Project
According to backstage information, the main reason behind the delay is the production team’s focus on an eight-episode Netflix series titled Organize İşler Karun Hazinesi. This commitment temporarily halted the production of Pearl Grains, with plans reportedly in place for the series to return to screens after approximately eight months.
Script Ready: Five Episodes Completed
Despite the uncertainty, there is also encouraging news. It is reported that the series’ writer Yılmaz Erdoğan completed the scripts for five episodes of the new season immediately after finishing the Netflix project. This development has strengthened expectations that the show’s return may be closer than anticipated.
Possible Change in Broadcast Day
According to journalist Birsen Altuntaş, the series has returned to the set under the direction of Şenol Sönmez. If no further changes occur, there is ongoing discussion about moving the broadcast day from Thursday to Tuesday.
New Characters Join the Story
Following recent cast departures, two new characters are expected to enter the storyline: Servan and Keledoş. Servan will appear as the former love interest of Dilber, portrayed by Hazar Ergüçlü. The other character, Keledoş, is described as a figure with mafia connections. Negotiations for both roles are reportedly still ongoing.
Backstage rumors suggest that “Pearl Grains” may reach its finale after 16 more episodes.
However, no official statement has yet been released by the production team regarding these claims, leaving the future of Pearl Grains uncertain.
