Ceyda Ersoy Detained in High-Profile Drug Investigation
Ceyda Ersoy, known to the public as one of the sisters referred to as “Ciciş kardeşler”, has been detained as part of a large-scale drug investigation targeting well-known figures.
The detention took place within the scope of an ongoing investigation led by the İstanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, conducted by the unit responsible for Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes. The probe has drawn significant attention due to the number of public figures involved.
Simultaneous Operations Across Multiple Cities
According to official information, simultaneous operations were carried out in İstanbul as well as in İzmir, Denizli, and Muğla. The charges include possession of narcotic or stimulant substances for personal use, facilitating the use of drugs, and encouraging, facilitating, or mediating prostitution, or providing premises for it.
As part of the operation, legal action was taken against 26 suspects, with 23 individuals detained. Authorities reported that two suspects are currently abroad, while one suspect is already in prison due to a separate offense.
Detention of Ceyda Ersoy
Within the same investigation, Ceyda Ersoy, who gained public recognition together with her sister Esra Ersoy through appearances on television programs, was also taken into custody. The development quickly became a major topic across Turkish media and social platforms.
Names of the Detained Suspects Revealed
The names of the detained suspects were disclosed, including Doğukan Güngör, Binnur Buse Alper, Merve Eryiğit, Özge Bitmez, Veysel Avcı, Sevgi Taşdan, Sedef Selen Atmaca, Arif Altunbulak, Burak Altındağ, Gizem Özköroğlu, Gülsüm Bayrak, Saniye Deniz, Merve Uslu, Ece Cerenbeli, Berna Aracı, Lerna Elmas, Ceren Yıldırım, Gözde Anuk, Duygu Açıksöz, Nevin Şimşek, Hakan Yıldız, Muzaffer Yıldırım, Koray Beşli, Alya, and Ceyda Ersoy.
It was also reported that another suspect, Bülent Tetik, is currently serving a sentence in prison for an unrelated case.
Ongoing Investigation Into Celebrities
The drug investigation targeting public figures has been ongoing since October 8, with multiple operations carried out across İstanbul. During the process, actors, musicians, managers, and businesspeople have been questioned and asked to provide blood and hair samples.
Previously, figures such as İrem Sak, Danla Bilic, Aleyna Tilki, and Mümine Senna Yıldız were detained briefly and later released after samples were taken. Yusuf Güney and Melisa Döngel were also released after giving statements and samples.
Şeyma Subaşı was taken into custody upon returning from the United States and later released under judicial supervision. Arrest warrants have also been issued for Şevval Şahin, Mert Vidinli, and Kasım Garipoğlu, and assets belonging to some suspects have been seized.
The suspects are accused of purchasing, possessing, or using narcotic or stimulant substances, and the investigation remains ongoing.
