Yıldız Tilbe’s Confession Years Later: My Right Ear Cannot Hear
Famous Turkish singer Yıldız Tilbe spoke years later about a severe accident she experienced during her childhood and the permanent effects it left on her life. She revealed that following the incident, she completely lost hearing in her right ear.
Appearing on a television program, Yıldız Tilbe shared details of the serious accident she suffered at a very young age, explaining that its consequences have continued to affect her life to this day. She stated that the incident resulted in the loss of hearing in her right ear.
Known for unforgettable songs such as “Delikanlım”, “Hastayım Sana”, “Haberi Olsun”, and “Çabuk Olalım Aşkım”, Yıldız Tilbe once again drew attention with her sincere confessions about her personal life.
“I Stayed in the Hospital for Six Months”
Stating that she is the youngest of six siblings, the singer described the childhood accident with the following words:
“Everyone who saw me used to say I was a very beautiful child. One day, when a guest at our home said this, because I was so young, I pulled a boiling kettle from the gas stove onto myself. My body was badly burned, and I stayed in the hospital for six months. When my siblings came to visit me, they could not recognize me. Doctors said I would not survive, but I did.”
“That Day, I Lost My Right Ear”
The 59-year-old artist also stated that the accident led to a permanent health problem. Yıldız Tilbe explained:
“After the boiling water spilled on me, I lost my right ear. My right ear cannot hear.”
According to the singer, the physical and emotional effects of this childhood trauma have continued throughout her life.
