The recent dispute between Turkish pop star Demet Akalın and rapper Blok3 quickly became a hot topic in the media. The tension began after Blok3 made a remark describing Akalın as “older than my mother,” which prompted a sharp reaction from the singer.
Demet Akalın responded to the comment by calling it disrespectful, and the exchange briefly dominated social media discussions.
However, the disagreement did not last long. Speaking to journalists, Demet Akalın stated that there is no longer any issue between her and Blok3 and that the matter has been resolved.
“I was offended by Blok3. What he did wasn’t right. He used expressions like ‘aunt’ and ‘older sister,’ which was inappropriate.”
Akalın later explained that the tension between them had eased and that their relationship had returned to normal.
“My daughter likes him a lot as well. Later, I sent him a message on Instagram, and he replied by sending me three roses.”
With these remarks, Demet Akalın confirmed that she and Blok3 have officially made peace.
Demet Akalın Also Spoke About Sefo
During the same conversation, Demet Akalın also mentioned young rapper Sefo, emphasizing that she does not see herself in competition with anyone.
“Everyone from seven to seventy knows who I am. I am not competing with anyone.”
She also expressed her support for Sefo with the following words:
