Tensions Escalate Between Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara
The ongoing conflict between Mauro Icardi and his former wife Wanda Nara has entered a new and more intense phase, as the public exchange of accusations continues. After Icardi stated that “we will no longer be a family,” Wanda Nara responded firmly, stressing that despite everything, their bond as a family would remain for the sake of their daughters.
The former couple, who have frequently made headlines in recent months due to personal and legal disputes, once again found themselves at the center of media attention. Just days ago, Wanda Nara shared a post on her social media account stating:
“We will be a family forever.”
Mauro Icardi did not remain silent following this statement. In a sharp response, he accused Wanda Nara of lying, claiming that she had taken legal action to prevent him from seeing their daughters and had taken 7 million euros from him.
“She is lying. She went to court to stop me from seeing my daughters and took 7 million euros from me. She is at the peak of her own collapse. Because of her obsession with my fiancée China Suarez, she kept our 9- and 10-year-old daughters away from their father for 11 hours. She will never be part of my family. The only connection between us is that she is the mother of my children.”
Wanda Nara responded quickly to Icardi’s remarks. In her social media post, she pointed out her role in negotiating his contract with Galatasaray.
“Before you arrived, I worked very hard for this deal with a club I had always admired. Even though you didn’t like the league or the Turks, we managed to secure an excellent agreement with Galatasaray.”
Continuing her statement, Wanda Nara referred to the responsibility she felt during the signing of this major contract, saying that at the time, Icardi considered her valuable as long as his focus remained on his football career.
She also explained that she made significant efforts to protect and build Icardi’s professional image, even at a high personal cost through fashion deals she signed in Milan. Nara emphasized that she never defrauded him and always paid taxes on her earnings.
“You Will Always Be Family to Me”
In the final part of her remarks, Wanda Nara once again underlined the concept of family, stating that even though legal proceedings are ongoing, she still considers Icardi part of her family.
“You will always be family to me. Even if the legal process continues, you know I am always by your side. In this world, a father who does not pay alimony is not viewed positively. Focus on your work, just like on the day you missed two penalties. As for your girlfriend’s perfumes, don’t waste your time—just as you said yourself, you and half of Argentina already know her.”
