Famous rapper Blok3 caught drunk during traffic inspection, vehicle banned from traffic
Popular Turkish rapper Blok3 has once again found himself at the center of controversy. The artist, who had recently made headlines due to a crisis on digital platforms, was stopped during a late-night traffic inspection while driving under the influence of alcohol and without a valid driver’s license.
Following the inspection, Blok3’s vehicle was banned from traffic due to the violations and was towed to a parking lot.
New incident after Spotify crisis
Hakan Aydın, known by his stage name Blok3 and one of the most-streamed artists of 2025, had recently been shaken by a major incident involving Spotify. Several of his songs, including tracks from the album “Obsesif” and the popular song “Kusura Bakma,” were suddenly removed from the platform.
The rapper claimed that the removals were caused by fake copyright claims or his email account being compromised. He announced that he had initiated a legal process and reacted strongly, stating, “They will pay the price in court.”
Stopped during night-time traffic control
While the impact of the Spotify crisis was still ongoing, Blok3 was stopped during a traffic control carried out late at night. Police checks revealed that the rapper was driving under the influence of alcohol.
Both drunk and without a driver’s license
Further details from the inspection drew attention. Blok3’s blood alcohol level was measured at 1.40 promille. It was also determined that he was driving without a valid driver’s license.
Heavy fine and vehicle impounded
Due to these violations, Blok3 was issued an administrative fine totaling 46,874 Turkish lira. The luxury vehicle he was driving was impounded and taken to a parking facility by tow truck.
Judicial process initiated
The incident did not remain limited to administrative penalties. It was reported that a judicial investigation was launched against the rapper on the grounds of endangering traffic safety by driving under the influence of alcohol.
These developments came at a time when Blok3 was experiencing one of the brightest periods of his career, and they have sparked widespread reactions on social media and within the music industry.
