Sezen Aksu Responds to New Romance Rumors: "Completely Baseless"
A response has recently emerged from the team of Sezen Aksu regarding the romance rumors that have dominated the tabloid agenda lately. In an official statement released by the artist's lawyer, Gokce Kilic Gulsaran (Gökçe Kılıç Gülsaran), it was clarified that reports of Aksu dating a 40-year-old veterinarian from Bursa are entirely unfounded.
The legendary figure of Turkish music had recently been linked to a veterinarian based in Bursa. Through her legal representative, she officially emphasized that these reports are nothing more than "fabricated gossip." Interestingly, Aksu also shared a witty and lighthearted message regarding the situation, which has caught the public's attention.
"A Violation of Journalistic Responsibility"
Lawyer Gokce Kilic Gulsaran reminded the media that providing accurate information is a fundamental journalistic responsibility. The statement noted that while Sezen Aksu understands such stories might be created out of a simple wish for her happiness, she believes that unconfirmed "he-said, she-said" content misleads the public and constitutes an injustice.
"More Important Issues on the National Agenda"
In the statement, Aksu criticized the fact that baseless romance rumors are taking up public space when there are far more critical and vital issues facing the country. The artist emphasized the need for national energy and focus to be directed toward real and meaningful agendas.
A Prayer for the Reporters: "May God Make Them Laugh Too"
The most striking part of the announcement was Aksu’s personal message to those who originated the report. Using a humorous tone, she thanked them for giving people a reason to smile through this false claim and said, "May God make them laugh too." She concluded by wishing everyone a real agenda filled with joy and lasting hope.

"The news claiming that my client Sezen Aksu (F.S. Yildirim (F.S. Yıldırım)) is having a romance with a 40-year-old veterinarian from Bursa is nothing but fabricated gossip. First and foremost, it is a journalist’s duty to report accurately. While my client understands these stories are made because people want her to be happy, she believes that unverified reports violate the public’s right to truth. She strongly feels there are much more important matters that should be part of the national agenda. By giving people a chance to smile through this false news, she sends the wish 'May God make them laugh too' to those responsible, wishing everyone an agenda full of joy, hope, and reality."
