Canbay Files Criminal Complaint
Vahap Canbay, a key figure in the incident, has decided to seek legal recourse. Canbay filed a criminal complaint against Aleyna Kalaycioglu and her mother, Zuhal Kalaycioglu, citing allegations of slander and insult.
Assault Allegations Denied
The complaint petition states that Zuhal Kalaycioglu's social media claims—stating her daughter separated from Vahap three times, was headbutted once, threatened, and subjected to constant psychological pressure—are contrary to the truth. It is argued that these statements constitute the crimes of slander and insult.
Furthermore, the petition addresses Aleyna Kalaycioglu’s police statements, such as "We argued after a birthday party, he detained me in his vehicle" and "He applied psychological pressure, threats, and physical violence." The filing asserts that these claims do not reflect reality and constitute a criminal accusation against Canbay.

Demand for Legal Action for Slander
The application highlights that because the statements were spread through the press and social media, the crime of insult was committed publicly. The petition requests that legal action be taken against both individuals for the crime of slander.
