Mehmet Ali Erbil's Mother Yurdagul Eken Laid to Rest
Yurdagul Eken (Yurdagül Eken), the mother of presenter and actor Mehmet Ali Erbil, has passed away at the age of 91 due to age-related health problems. She was buried in Izmir (İzmir).
Eken, who had recently suffered a hip fracture and was dealing with health issues related to her age, passed away yesterday. A ceremony was held at the Urla Gasilhanesi in the Urla district of Izmir.
Mehmet Ali Erbil did not attend the ceremony. His sister, Ongul Eken (Öngül Eken), stated that Erbil could not participate due to his own health condition.
The funeral was attended by her daughter Ongul Eken, granddaughter Gulce Akol (Gülce Akol), son-in-law Ali Akol, in-laws Hulya Oney (Hülya Öney) and Mehmet Oney, as well as neighbors.
Following the funeral prayer, Eken was buried in Zeytinalan Cemetery, placed in the grave of her late husband, Omer Onder Eken (Ömer Önder Eken).
