Nehir Erdogan: We Got Married by Mistake
Famous actress Nehir Erdogan (Nehir Erdoğan), who divorced cinematographer Ahmet Sesigurgil (Ahmet Sesigürgil) in 2016, made a surprising confession about her past marriage. The couple married in 2014 and separated in 2016. Erdogan spoke about the conclusion of her marriage.
"We got married by mistake while we should have been very good friends,"
Erdogan said. Appearing as a guest on Saba Tumer's (Saba Tümer) program, the actress shared her perspective on her former relationship. "I have great respect for people who can truly succeed at marriage. But I also send my regards to my ex-husband Ahmet Sesigurgil; sometimes I think we were just people who should have been very good friends," she stated.
Because the marriage lasted only two years, Erdogan admitted she sometimes questions if it happened at all.
"There are times when I ask myself, 'Wait, was I even married?' at some point, I told my family, 'Fine, you want it so much, we'll do this.' I managed to fulfill that perfectionist family expectation in two years. In the end, they also realized I am not suited for this,"she explained.
