Meteorological Warning: Heavy Snowfall Is on the Way
The Turkish Meteorological Organization has issued a warning about heavy rainfall and intense snowfall in eastern Central Anatolia and the eastern regions of the Black Sea.
Forecast of Heavy Rainfall in Central Anatolia
According to a statement released by the General Directorate of Meteorology, starting from tomorrow noon, local heavy rainfall is expected in the regions of Niğde, Kayseri, and Sivas. These precipitations, which will initially be a mix of rain and snow, will turn into heavy snowfall during the night and are expected to continue until Thursday morning.
Significant Precipitation in the Eastern Black Sea
Also, starting from the early hours of tomorrow, heavy rainfall is expected in the province of Ordu, the north and east of Tokat, and by the afternoon in the surroundings of Giresun, Trabzon, Rize, the north of Gümüşhane, and the west of Artvin.
In coastal areas, this precipitation will mostly be in the form of rain and showers, but in inland areas, the precipitation will be in the form of heavy snow and extremely intense in some spots.
Warning About Possible Disruptions
The Meteorological Organization has warned that due to these conditions, problems such as traffic disruptions, snowstorms, flooding, icing, and frostbite may occur, and people should be fully prepared and act with caution.

Lightning Warning in Erzurum
The Regional Directorate of Meteorology for Region Twelve has also issued a warning that due to thunderous showers in Erzurum and surrounding areas, there is a possibility of severe lightning.
According to this authority, the temperature will remain within seasonal averages, but due to the thunderstorms, residents of these areas must remain vigilant and prepared for possible dangers.
