Arrest of Berk Çetin, Former Boyfriend of Danla Bilic

Danla Bilic, a prominent social media figure, filed a complaint against her ex-boyfriend Berk Çetin claiming she was physically assaulted. According to reports, Berk Çetin was arrested in the city of Denizli.

Çetin Denies the Assault Allegation

In his statement to the police, Berk Çetin said he has faced many baseless accusations. He claimed he was unaware of Danla Bilic's presence in the restaurant and approached her just to say hello. Çetin stated that during the encounter, upon hearing offensive words from Danla, he suddenly got angry and only pushed her shoulder. According to him, Danla did not fall but stepped back a few steps.

He further emphasized that the claim of punching Danla Bilic in the face is not true.

Details of Danla Bilic’s Complaint

According to Ekol TV, Danla Bilic, whose real name is Neslihan Damla Aktepe, stated the following in her complaint:

"The person I am complaining about is my ex-boyfriend Berk Çetin. He has physically assaulted me many times in the past, and once he entered my home with a weapon. I have already filed complaints with the prosecutor's office regarding these incidents."

She added that on April 11, around 3:30 PM, she went to a sports club in the Göktürk neighborhood and was sitting in the cafeteria when Berk Çetin suddenly approached her. Danla said that upon seeing Berk, she decided to leave the place and told him she wanted to go. When he asked why, she said, "Maybe you'll punch me again," referring to a previous incident. Immediately after this comment, Çetin punched her multiple times in the head, physically assaulting her.

She also stated that while trying to leave the place, Berk blocked her way and punched her again in the chin. With her screaming, people present at the club intervened and removed Berk from the location. Danla added that several trainers and staff members at the club witnessed the incident and could be referred to provide testimony if necessary.
