Death threat against Danla Bilic by Berk Çetin; after being released from prison
Danla Bilic, a well-known social media influencer, announced that Berk Çetin, her former partner who had been arrested for physical violence, was released and has threatened to kill her.

"You will hear the news of your daughter's death in 3 or 4 days."
Report of physical violence at the club restaurant
A few months ago, Danla Bilic had announced that she was assaulted by Berk Çetin. The incident occurred at the restaurant of the sports club where she was a member, located in the Eyüpsultan district. After receiving a forensic medical report, Bilic filed a complaint with the prosecutor’s office.
Harassment, threats, and violation of restraining order
According to Bilic, after the end of the relationship, Çetin engaged in harassing behavior such as persistent stalking, attempting to enter her home without permission, and repeatedly issuing verbal and physical threats. She emphasized that despite a restraining order being issued, Çetin had violated it several times and attempted to harm her.
Arrest after surveillance footage release
After the release of footage showing the incident from surveillance cameras, Berk Çetin was arrested on April 12, 2025, in the city of Denizli and was sent to prison by court order.
New claims by Bilic: Death threat after release
In her latest statement on social media, Bilic said that Çetin was released from prison and once again threatened to kill her. She said:
"He found my uncle and proudly said that you will hear the news of your daughter’s death in a few days."
Bilic: I’m experiencing something I had only seen in documentaries
Danla said in the rest of her video:
"I’m truly experiencing something I had only seen on television and in documentaries. Our first court session was held last week, and four days later Çetin was released. His behavior and words made it completely clear that he had no remorse and stood by his actions. Still, I had hoped that during prison, he would understand the value of freedom, but that didn’t happen."
She added:
"I don’t know anymore which institutions are supposed to protect us—prisons or psychiatric hospitals? But this person is now free, he’s making plans, and proudly threatens my family members. He is outside now, and I’m under serious threat."
