Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ Joins Search Team; Missing Businessman “Halit Yukay” Still Unfound
The search for Halit Yukay, the Turkish businessman who went missing after a boating accident in the Marmara Sea, has entered its sixth day. Famous Turkish actor Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ has joined the operation, assisting the Coast Guard teams.
The Incident and Start of the Search
On August 4, Halit Yukay departed from Yalova aboard his boat “Graywolf” heading towards Bozcaada. Contact with him was lost the same day. The next day, the crew of a commercial ship near Turanköy in Balıkesir spotted partially submerged boat debris and alerted the Coast Guard.
Diving Operations and Advanced Equipment
This morning, 13 professional divers from the Bursa, Çanakkale, and Samsun police units conducted underwater searches in the Narlı area. Divers followed wind direction to thoroughly scan nearby islands and coves.
If no results are achieved, an ROV device capable of imaging up to 300 meters deep will be brought from İzmir for a detailed seabed scan.
Boat Debris Found Near Paşalimanı Island
Divers discovered boat fragments lodged in rocks on the northern coast of Paşalimanı Island. These were brought ashore for examination.
Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ’s Participation
Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ has been actively diving and using a drone for aerial scouting. He reportedly spoke to Halit Yukay on the day of the incident and has appealed to the public via social media for help.
