Fire in Istanbul’s Beşiktaş: Şebnem Bozoklu’s Home Damaged
A fire broke out in a three-story wooden building in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, spreading to three nearby buildings. In total, four buildings were damaged, with two rendered completely unusable. Among the affected properties was the home of actress Şebnem Bozoklu.
Incident Details
The fire occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Dubaracı Street, Arnavutköy neighborhood. The cause remains unknown. The burning wooden building eventually collapsed onto a parked car on the roadside.
Eyewitness Account
“I saw the fire truck passing. A wooden building was burning, and after a while the flames spread to nearby buildings. Luckily, there were no casualties. I heard that Ms. Şebnem had a house there.” (Murat Işık)
Damage
A total of four buildings sustained damage, with two completely unusable. The home of Şebnem Bozoklu was among the damaged properties.
