Results Announced in the Death of Güllü: Drug Tests of Her Daughter and Friend Are Negative
As part of the ongoing investigation into the suspected death of the singer Güllü, the official results of drug tests have been announced. According to the findings, the tests conducted on Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, the artist’s daughter, and her friend Sultan Nur Ulu were negative, with no traces of narcotic or stimulant substances detected.
Güllü (52) died on 26 September 2025 in Yalova, Çınarcık district, Harmanlar neighborhood, after falling from the window of the enclosed terrace of her apartment while she was at home with her daughter and her friend. From the outset, her death was classified as suspicious, and a judicial investigation was launched.
Within the scope of the case, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter (27) was arrested on charges of “premeditated murder of a close relative”, while Sultan Nur Ulu was placed under house arrest.
Forensic Report: No Drugs or Stimulants Detected
According to the report issued by Adli Tıp Kurumu, prepared by the Bursa Adli Tıp Grup Başkanlığı – Kimya İhtisas Dairesi, hair samples taken from Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter and Sultan Nur Ulu were analyzed. The report confirmed that no narcotic, stimulant, or active pharmaceutical substances were found in the samples.
These results were announced following widespread claims that the individuals present in the house on the night of the incident may have been under the influence of drugs. Tuğberk Yağız Gülter, Güllü’s son, had also stated in his testimony that his sister and her friend might have used narcotic substances.
Expert Findings: No Evidence of Suicide
In the expert report prepared after an on-site inspection conducted on 8 October, it was stated that for Güllü to have fallen backward, there must have been an external force and physical contact. The report also emphasized that there were no findings indicating suicidal intent, and noted that the artist had taken safety precautions inside her home.
Shocking Allegations by a Close Friend
Özlem Kara, a close friend of Güllü, made striking claims regarding the relationship between the singer and her daughter. According to Kara, Güllü was deeply afraid of her daughter and alleged that Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter had threatened her mother by saying:
“If you do not give me money, I will sell your grandchild Karmen to an organ trafficking mafia.”
Kara also stated that Güllü often spoke about feeling unsafe in her own home, and that she sometimes woke up at night to see her daughter standing at the foot of her bed, which caused her fear of death.
Security Cameras and Broken Family Ties
According to Özlem Kara, Güllü had installed security cameras in various parts of her home due to concerns about her daughter’s alleged drug dependency. She also claimed that Güllü’s relationship with her children had severely deteriorated, and that the artist had considered disinheriting them and later performing the Hajj pilgrimage.
Current Status of Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter
Following her arrest, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter was initially sent to Gebze Kadın Cezaevi. Allegations later emerged that she was protested by other inmates, who reportedly reacted by playing Güllü’s songs loudly inside the ward.
It was also claimed that Gülter was going through a difficult psychological period and had stopped eating. Subsequently, amid allegations of violence inside the prison, a judicial decision led to her transfer to Silivri Cezaevi.
The investigation into the death of Güllü is still ongoing, and judicial authorities have stated that all aspects of the case continue to be examined.
