İbrahim Tatlıses Taken to Court Over Dispute With His Former Manager
Renowned Turkish singer İbrahim Tatlıses was called to give a statement as a suspect following a criminal complaint filed by his former manager, Şule Yazar.
The investigation was launched in İzmir after Şule Yazar’s complaint. According to the allegations, İbrahim Tatlıses is being investigated on charges of “attempting to take possession of property belonging to another person and attempting to prevent the delivery of that property.”
It was reported that the subject of the complaint concerns a hotel registered under Şule Yazar’s name in the Konak district of İzmir. In this context, İbrahim Tatlıses appeared today at the İzmir Courthouse to give his official statement to the prosecutor.
İbrahim Tatlıses denied all accusations during his statement to the prosecution.
Sources also stated that the artist not only rejected the claims but also filed a criminal complaint against Şule Yazar, indicating that the dispute between the two parties has escalated into a serious legal conflict.
After completing his statement, İbrahim Tatlıses left the courthouse without making any further comments. The judicial investigation into the case is still ongoing.
